Plant & Refresh

I love planting out the gardens I design, using plants from my own suppliers and making sure they are settled and happy in their new home.
Sometimes I find that what clients are looking for is not a completely new garden, but a rethink of the garden they already have, with new planting bringing a new lease of life to existing hard landscaping and treasured trees and shrubs.
I call this a garden refresh. The process is simpler than a full garden design, typically skipping the concept phase and, of course, without the need for a layout (hard landscaping) plan. Instead, I will focus on understanding the site – soil, sun, surroundings – finding out more about what you’re looking for, developing a planting plan, sourcing plants and then getting them into the ground.
